Thomas Burke papers, 1875-1925.

The collection documents Thomas Burke's interests and activities, particularly as a lawyer in Seattle, Washington, in the 1880s through the mid 1920s. The papers include correspondence, speeches and writings, legal and financial documents, and clippings. The large number and wide variety of firms, companies, and organizations represented are an indicator of the scope of Burke's interests and activites. Each of Burke's law firms (except that of McGilvra and Burke) is also represented, largely by correspondence and also legal documents and other materials.
